Abstract
This study aims to describe how the development of the tourism sector in Kerinci Regency. This can be seen from the number of tourist objects in Kerinci Regency that have not experienced development, especially from the existing facilities which tend to be less attention by the government. The method used is a qualitative method by interviewing several informants who were met at the tourist attraction site during the research period. The location of this research is a tourist attraction which is the unit of analysis, namely, Semurup Hot Water, Kerinci Lake, Telun Berasap Waterfall, Aroma Pekko and Asri Murni Flower Park. The conclusion in this study through interviews with several informants who were met in several tourist objects, it means that all tourist objects in Kerinci Regency that are within the scope of this research object can be categorized as quite good but there are still many improvements that need to be addressed.
